Hello everyone,

Sorry I’ve been away so long. We have been busy trying to put the finishing touches on the movie.  Since I last spoke to you we have been in the editing process.  We have recently completed editing the film and have added all of the music and sound effects. 

I’m very happy with the way that the movie looks so far and I’m hoping to get some positive feedback after our first showing.  We will be having a premiere at the Fairfax Cinema Arts Theatre in Fairfax, VA on Nov 9th, 2008 at 4:30 pm.  Cast & Crew will get in free, all others will be $10 at the door.

It will also be a great time to get together with the cast and crew and to catch up on everybody’s lives since we finished the movie.  So, I look forward to seeing everybody there. Be sure to come out and support the film!

Well everybody, sorry I’ve been away so long.  We wrapped up production the last week of January and I have been editing ever since. 

I first wanted to thank my producer Stacie Jones for putting the entire schedule together.  We were able to finish on time and under budget (the most important thing)!  Next I wanted to thank the entire production staff for being extremely professional and “getting the job done”.  And last but not least I have to thank my actors. After watching all the dailies I have to commend each and every one of them for a job well done.  I will have to say that it was an excellent learning experience for the whole team.  I think that everybody was able to put in their ideas which hopefully in the end will add to the value of the finished project. 

My goal is to be done with a first draft by the first week of March.  Things are looking great so far.  In fact in most cases, it is coming together better than I expected.

Well, the past month has absolutely flown by for us! We are now wrapped on principle photography. I apologize for not getting a post up for the 2nd week of filming, however we were so busy killing people off the last 2 weeks that it just completely slipped past me!

We had several victims in the movie (mostly women), many close calls in real life (mostly men), and had a great time doing it! Be sure to check out the new pictures in the picture section. There will be many more to come.

I will continue to post and keep you updated on current happenings with the movie. In addition I’ll try to reflect back on filming days from the past month.

Good People Movie

Well, we have completed the first week of filming and we are ahead of schedule. We had a few rough spots in the beginning, but we ironed out the wrinkles and the cast and crew are definitely clicking on all cylinders.

We were able to take care of most of the highly “emotional” scenes this week and get them out of the way. While our entire “shoot” last week was inside, this week we’ll be working outside for the most part. Hopefully the weather will hold up, we can deal with the cold, but if we have to deal with snow, then it could cause some logistical problems. But so far, I’m happy with everybody’s effort and everyone seems to feel that this project is headed in the right direction. I’ll check back later….

Today is the first day of principle photography for Good People!

What a relief to finally be able to get started. We are all on set and it is so hard to believe that this day is finally here. The disbelief is shortlived as it is now time to work hard for the next few weeks. Can’t spend much time on this post, but I will intend to write sometime this week with pictures of the first couple of days on set so stay tuned!

Hello Everyone!!! Welcome to the Official Blog for the feature film “Good People”.

This post is to announce the beginning of production on “Good People”. Have a look at the “Synopsis” button up at the top of the page to read all about the movie.

We are shooting this film in Baltimore, MD throughout the month of January, 2008.

Be sure to check back here every Monday for updates on the status of the film and occasionally during the week we’ll be adding pictures and little pieces of information.
